We’ve got stars in our pies (and patties!)

We’re so chuffed to say we won 7 stars at this year’s Great Taste Awards (the Oscars of the food world).

But what we’re most excited about is that both our vegan patties are now award winners. Chana-Rama (a spicy chickpea & spinach patty) picked up 2 stars and Holy Chipotle (a smoky bean & chipotle patty) was awarded 1 star. Woohoo!

The judges showered them with praise, saying they were: “excellent, both in texture and flavour … a very well made product that we would enjoy eating more of…” and: “a really well made and enjoyable vegan patty, full of flavour and satisfyingly filling.”

Now that’s some high praise. But don’t just take their word for it, pick up some patties for yourself and you can be the judge.

The best bit? The packaging is plastic-free, made with fully recyclable card and a transparent outer made from wood pulp. This means that every element of the packaging can be composted or recycled, helping you make planet-friendly choices when you shop. Keep a look out for A Plastic Planet’s ‘Plastic Free’ trademark on the packaging.

Live near one of our cafes or restaurants? Grab patties for £2 each or 3 for a fiver, to enjoy hot or cold, in or out.

As well as our vegan patties, our Jerk Chook patty and Christmas pies Deer Santa and Mistle Moo were also awarded stars. We can’t wait for their come back. It’s never too early to start the Christmas countdown… right?!
