Bountiful Bristol & beyond..
Yesterday, we packed the car with some of our favourite West Country delicacies to share with some very special foodies we’d invited to our Leather Lane restaurant for an exclusive ‘Taste of the West’.
Tristan baked up some of his brand new lighter pies (all made in Bristol of course!) and served them with salads from our new menu.
Our happy guests washed them down with wonderful ciders and juices from Orchard Pig, a delicious sparkling cider from Burrow Hill, and Bristol Beer Factory’s award winning Independence beer and 6 O’clock G&T’s!
After feasting on pies, everyone got stuck in to the most incredible Westcombe Dairy Ricotta, drizzled with Talking with Bees honey from Bristol and a sprinkling of finely milled coffee from our friends at Extract.
And look what everyone left the party with at the end of the night. Not bad eh?
HUGE thanks to the following local producers:
Orchard Pig, Extract Coffee, Pukka Teas, Guilbert’s Chocolates , Westcombe Dairy, Talking with Bees Honey, Burrow Hill, Bristol Beer Factory, 6 O’clock Gin
We started baking pies on Stokes Croft back in 2003. Since then, this infamous part of Bristol has become a hotbed for new independent restaurants which, like us, make the most of delicious produce made and grown in the West Country. You’ll find some amazing products from Bristol and beyond on our menus and in our pies; beer from Bristol Beer Factory, ciders from Burrow Hill and Orchard Pig, cheeses from Westcombe Dairy and Lubborn Creamery – we even serve Bristol-made gin & tonic from a distillery just minutes away from our pie kitchens!
