Five pies and a pie pickle pick up prestigious prizes

(Try saying that with a mouthful of pie…..)

Yes, the results are in from the world’s largest blind-tasted food awards, Great Taste, and no less than SIX of our products have been awarded this year’s little gold and black Great Taste logo!

Our classic kate & Sidney and moo pies each got a gold star.   And so did our brand new No 10 Chutney!

 

Is this the world’s first dedicated pie chutney?  We think so.

AND our  moo & blue, chicken of aragon and heidi pies even went one better, winning a total of 2 gold stars each.

Judged by over 400 of the most demanding palates belonging to food critics, chefs, cooks, farmers, food writers, journalists –  even  members of the Women’s Institute –  Great Taste is widely acknowledged as the most respected food accreditation scheme for artisan and speciality food producers.

 

We’re proud to have accreditation from organisations like Compassion In World Farming for our high animal welfare standards,  but  taste is more subjective.  So to win Great Taste ‘stars’ purely on taste is the ultimate expert ‘seal of approval’ and proof that our pies are completely and utterly delicious.  Fact!
