Eggsperimenting with colour for Easter!
We’ve cleared out the fridge and the cupboard of all things colourful and used them to dye eggs… the results were eggceptional!
To try naturally dying your own eggs you will need:
A batch of organic or free range eggs
White wine vinegar
Lots of naturally bright and colourful foods (we used blueberries, red cabbage, spinach, beetroot and turmeric)
Hard boil your eggs
Whilst your eggs are boiling make up your dye by mixing or mushing your chosen ingredients in a separate pan and boil and simmer for 30 minutes
Carefully remove your eggs from the pan and pop them in the dye overnight
